My research focuses on designing and empirically evaluating interactive AI technologies that are transparent, trustworthy, and responsive to human behavior. A central theme of my work is perception as an interface: by augmenting human sensory and cognitive capabilities, I explore how interfaces can improve users\u2019 understanding, control, and regulation of adaptive AI systems. Methodologically, I conduct user studies with the design of intelligent interactive artifacts, often in the context of extended and mixed reality.
